Meet Julie

Julie was raised in Matthews, NC and now resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband and two daughters. Julie Roeser PA-C, MMS earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. She received her Masters of Medical Science from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2005. Julie is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She has 12 years of experience in pain management, neurosurgery and orthopaedic spine surgery, and as a multi-specialty surgical Physician Assistant.

Julie joined Dr. Mathur’s team in 2016 because she wanted the opportunity to return to focusing exclusively on spine care. She is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with orthopaedic spine disorders. As part of her comprehensive responsibilities, she conducts physical examinations, orders and interprets tests, counsels patients on preventive health care, assists Dr. Mathur in surgery and helps patients with preoperative and postoperative care in both the hospital and clinic setting. Julie loves that Dr. Mathur is dedicated to creating a comprehensive spine center that provides superior and compassionate patient care. She also appreciates the surgical expertise and minimally invasive surgical techniques that Dr. Mathur provides.
